· An enhanced camera equipped with a 1-inch 20-megapixel sensor capable of recording 4K / 60 fps video and shooting burst images at 14 fps. Choosing a titanium alloy and magnesium alloy increases body stiffness and reduces weight by making the Phantom 4 Pro very similar to that of the Phantom 4. The FlightAutonomy system adds dual rear view sensors and infrared sensors for a total of 5 obstacle detection directions and a 4-way anti-collision system. Camera with 1 inch and 20 MP sensor The on-board camera has been redesigned to use a 1-inch, 20-megapixel CMOS sensor. A custom-designed lens made of eight elements organized into seven groups, is DJI´s first camera to use a mechanical shutter, eliminating the shutter distortion that appears when shooting fast-moving subjects or when flying at high speed. Indeed, it is more powerful than many traditional cameras. Thanks to the most powerful video processing it supports 4K H.264 videos at 60 fps or H.265 4K at 30 fps, both with a bit rate of 100 Mbps. Advanced sensors and processors ensure that everything is captured with more image details and image data needed for advanced post-production. FlightAutonomy 5-way obstacle detection is extended with an additional set of high-resolution stereo vision sensors located at the rear, in addition to the torque placed at the front, as well as infrared detection systems placed on the left and right sides. This network creates a total of 5 obstacle detection directions with a 4-way anti-collision system, protecting the Phantom 4 Pro from more obstacles and giving filmmakers the confidence to capture more complex images.
